Abstract Submission

Word limit: 200 words.
The abstract should clearly state the objectives, methodology, key results, and major conclusions of the research.
Submissions must be original and free from plagiarism (similarity index below 10%).
Authors are required to select the appropriate conference track at the time of submission.
All submissions will be reviewed based on: originality, novelty, technical quality and relevance to conference themes.
Accepted abstracts will be invited for: Oral or Poster presentation.
Detailed presentation instructions will be shared after acceptance.
After abstract acceptance and registration a full-length paper can be submitted.
A full paper submission is not mandatory to present a paper or attend ICAPST.
At least one author must register and present the paper at the conference for it to be included in the ICAPST proceedings and considered for journal publication recommendation.

Publication Opportunity

Selected high-quality papers related to the conference tracks and presented at ICAPST 2026 will be considered for publication (subject to the respective journal’s peer-review process and editorial decision) in a Special Issue/Collection of the participating journals.

No Publication Charges:

Wiley Journals: There is no mandatory Article Processing Charge (APC) for papers published under the subscription (non-Open Access) model.
Solar Compass & Cambridge Prisms: Energy Transitions: APC charges are waived for papers accepted under the conference publication arrangement.

Instructions for Authors

Participants are encouraged to prepare a full-length research paper after receiving acceptance of their abstract for presentation at ICAPST 2026.
Conference registration is mandatory before submitting the full-length paper. The submission deadline is 15 August 2026. The paper submission link will be shared with registered participants.
Submitted manuscripts will be screened by the conference organizers to ensure alignment with the scope and requirements of the participating journals.
Manuscripts must present original, unpublished research and comply with accepted standards of publication ethics and research integrity.
The journal submission process will be coordinated through the conference organizers after conference.

Submission Process to journal

After the conference, the organizers will identify and nominate a limited number of outstanding papers from different conference tracks for submission to the participating journals.
Depending on the journal’s requirements, manuscripts will be submitted either directly through the journal’s online submission system by the authors or through a submission process coordinated by the conference organizers.
Authors must prepare and submit their manuscripts according to the author guidelines available on the respective journal websites.
The nomination by the conference organizers does not guarantee acceptance for publication.
Submissions through this Special issue/collection will be treated in the same manner as regular journal submissions.
There will be no preferential treatment for manuscripts associated with the conference.
All submitted manuscripts will undergo the respective journal’s standard editorial assessment and peer-review process and will be evaluated according to the same high-quality standards and editorial criteria as regular submissions.
Publication decisions will be based solely on scientific quality, scope fit, and peer-review outcomes.
